Immigration Resource Center

During the Spring of 2020, I had the opportunity to intern with the Immigration Resource Center. As an intern, I taught classes as well as did one on one with individuals to hope for a guarantee in becoming a US citizen. I helped with their N-400 papers and even taught US History and English to give the best possibility of success.

Being apart of this was not only an honor but an eye awakening for my career goals. I was given passion and happiness seeing those are wanted to be apart of this country and just being there to help give them the push and the next steps into becoming a citizen was worth it. I am glad that this internship paved the way for not only others but myself so that I can continue to work in such a field and applaud such greatness.
